Adventureland

We went to Adventureland on Saturday. We bought tickets back in May and between the floods, roads closed, weather, and my trip to KY... we haven't been able to go until now. We had a few sprinkles early on, but it turned out to be a nice day. We met up with our friends the Jarbos later in the evening. I didn't have my camera with me, so these pics are ones Haldan took with his camera. The kids are slowly getting more brave about the amusement park rides. We took them to Mall of America for spring break and they went on their first roller coaster. We've waited a while so that they would be tall enough. Connor went on all of them. Camille wouldn't go on the Spongebob ride. She did go on the other ones and that was when we discovered she's got a good set of lungs on her. She screams like no one else. It's pretty funny. We also went to Coney Island this summer in Kentucky with my family. They have one kiddy rollercoaster. It's not that big, but it's wooden and it really gives you a bit of whip lash. Now on to Adventureland. Camille didn't want to go on the Dragon because it had loops, but she went on the Tornado and the Outlaw. When we left she was already talking about going on the dragon next time. I figure at this rate in acouple years they'll be ready for Six Flags or Disneyland. They're growing up and even though we get to do fun stuff together it still makes me a little sad.

  1. Alicia,

Looks great! Just one more thing I forgot. When you go into photoscape there is a little acorn looking thing. That allows you to adjust your enlargement, so when people click on it, they can see the details better. I forgot that little detail. I usually blow mine up to 200%, just for a frame of reference.
