"Old School"

So, are we the only ones that still tie floss around the tooth and slam the door? Camille was all ready to get her tooth yanked. It'd been loose for some time. When we tied the floss around she started freaking out. I guess she was having a flash back to the previous tooth pulling expereince. Anyhow, after several minutes of the screaming and crying Haldan decided he was done. I told him it was fine because they had a dentist appt in acouple days. The dentist couldn't believe we actually "still" use this method. That was the general response we got from anyone we mentioned it to. I just assumed everyone did it this way. Connor's teeth just don't come out on their own! We actually had to have the dentist pull his two front teeth (separate times and a whole other story in itself). Connor's teeth actually get tighter, it seems, as the permament tooth starts coming in. He has one sticking out in the front right now and the dentist said he'd prefer not pulling it. He says it will come out on its own. I'm still waiting for that.

However, Camille was determined to get her tooth out. When she sets her mind to something there's no stopping her. She wiggled that tooth night and day for a good week and this morning I was starting to worry she might even swallow it. It was barely hanging on...then she pulled it... and out it came!
