pumpkin patch

It wouldn't be fall without a trip to the pumpkin patch. Every year we plan a day to go and pick out our pumpkins. We went out two Saturdays ago and it was 81 degrees. We decided you shouldn't be sweating while you pick out pumpkins, so we left and decided to wait. We had also gone to a new place that we weren't crazy about. We're glad we waited. We went Saturday to Goodlove's and it was a perfect day! The kids had fun and we found some perfect stacking gourds/pumpkins for the front porch. There's nothing like going out to the farm and picking your very own. Oh, just a side note. Camille did her own hair. I really wanted her to look cute for pics, but I let her keep it in 'cause she was so proud of herself. I think she did a pretty good job.

  2. Camille's hair looks better than mine most days. Where is Goodlove's? Do they have a petting zoo? We want to go have the experience. It was so much fun to see you on Thursday night.

  3. Goodloves used to have hay rides, but don't do that any more. There's no petting zoo either. Sorry. It's just a farm you can go out and pick out your pumpkins. Luckily my kids are at ages they think it's fun to go see what kind of treasure they can find. If you want an amazing pumpkin patch you should go to the one outskirts of Nauvoo. We hit that one on the way home acouple years ago. It was by far the most amazing one I'd ever been to... lots for the kids to do. Just a thought.
