Caution: Do not proceed if you have a weak stomach!
It was just your typical Sunday afternoon. The kids were having some lunch before church.
That's when Camille said (in a matter of fact tone), "A hawk just killed a squirrel. He's dead in our backyard."
I confirmed the statement to be true. That alone was gross, but then the hawk returned. Luckily he waited until we were done with our lunch before he began eating his.
This is the gruesome scene we saw.
We had to leave for church before he was finished. When we returned the squirrel was completely gone!

ReplyDeleteoh man! Gross! But at the same time, it's like a train wreck! You can't look away, when you know you should!! It's almost like the Playgroup field trip to the bird place...one of the birds was eating...your pictures came out a whole lot better than mine!
