DAY 235

Photobucket

"If you want children to keep their feet on the ground, put some responsibility on their shoulders." - Abigail Van Buren

So far so good. It's been a week and the kids still love these guys. They make strange noises and poop non-stop. We've had to make new rules just for that reason alone. 1. They are not allowed to run around the house 2. Put them in a separate container when cleaning their home out 3. Hold for short periods 4. Vacuum their bedding when necessary. (It seems to come with them when they pick them up.) I'm sure more will come with time. I'm also pretty sure the excitement will die down. They've already eaten all the snacks Little Man bought and he's not ready to shell out another $3 right now. They're learning that being a pet owner is a big responsibility.

Just a reminder:
Haldan takes his big test tomorrow that determines if he takes the bigger test the end of Sept. Please keep him in your prayers. It's an 8 hour written exam.
