Now on with my regularly scheduled WW...

(Processed with Florabella's Halo and BW Film Actions in PSE 7. I reduced the opacity of the B&W for a different effect on a few.)
I do not advocate tattoos for children, but pokey picked this up at the theater and put it on all. by. herself! It wasn't until I was going through the pics that I realized just how gangster she looked and I had to giggle just a little. What is your take on fake tats for kids?
Don't forget to link up your "water" pics for the Crazy Days of Summer Photo Challenge this Friday! (Hosted by Kristi of Live and Love Out Loud and myself.)
If you have a photo just link it below. Wordless, Not So Wordless, or Wordful posts are all welcome. Make sure to stop by some of the other WWs.
These are lovely! The fourth photo is my favorite. It looks like you caught her in a moment, all by herself. Plus, the bokeh is killing me in the most delightful way! :)
ReplyDeleteLet the Wordless Wednesday craziness begin...
How cute. I don't like fake tats either because they look terrible after 2 days but my kids do so I let them wear them.
ReplyDeleteI like that gangsta look! My 4yo is into fake tats already. I think it's fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat images, I like the effect.
ReplyDeleteNot a very great admirer of tattoos, but kids do.
These are great! Your daughter is just beautiful...tattoo and all. :) Thinking of taking my son to the park once he gets back from camp. He just LOVES tire swings. Is always asking for one.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you told me what actions you were using...2 of my favs!
ReplyDeleteThere pics are fantastic. She looks awesome. :) hehe
ReplyDeleteBeautiful processing!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I saw the first photo and I totally looked beyond the person, to what she was on. I was just thinking about those spinning playground rides wondering if they still exist anywhere. Sort of happy to see that they do! :)
ReplyDeleteI think that the fake tats are cute!!!
ReplyDeleteMy son had one and it was funny...
She is too cute with it though!!!!
Love her Pirates of the Caribbean tat!
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING as always.
ReplyDeleteSo I am left... wordless!
xx
I loved the first photo where you captured such a natural pose. And I love her tats, they look great in B&W.
ReplyDeleteoh my kids love fake tats and I let them wear them when they have them- I think they are fun :) Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteawesome pics of your gal and her gangsta tat;0. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteTotally gantsta! ;) I love the one on the merry go round. One of my favorites from the playground even though I was injured on one as a kid!
ReplyDeletethose are very sweet pictures! I think tatoos for kids are fun. Long as you tell them how good it is that they wash off and how they might not like a real one that they cannot LOL
ReplyDeletebut my husband has a tattoo, so we can't really talk....LOL!!
I love the light in this photos, amazing and so pretty!
I love the coloring of the last photo of your daughter especially!
ReplyDeleteMy son likes the rub on tatoos and I find them no big deal... after all, they wash off in a day or two. LOL!
Beautiful! I have no problem with fake tats on children - they can be removed :)
ReplyDeleteI dont like fake tattoos on kids for the most part. Some are cute and still look ok after a few days but I have seen some young girls with them across the small of their back, or upper thigh.
ReplyDeleteI love the actions you applied to these photos. They really set that gansta feel!
ReplyDeleteAlicia, these are all kinds of awesome! I love the processing... just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I love the way you altered the color.
ReplyDeleteLove these. Your pictures are simply breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. The tat is totally gangsta. And very cute. LOL
ReplyDeleteshe is so photogenic!! the photo of her on the tube looking at you is great!!
ReplyDeleteShe does look gangster. LOL. Cute photos. I really like the processing you did on them. They look great.
ReplyDeleteThe processing on these pictures is just beautiful. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I prefer my daughters to not wear around those tattoos, but it isn't a huge deal so if they do they do.
Fun pics! And fake tats don't bother me. Now that I have a teenage daughter, that seems like truly the most minimal of issues. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteshe is bad ass :) My 5yo LOVES fake tattoos. I'm much happier with that than a real one :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of tattoos either but my son has been known to sneak a few fake ones on every now and then!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots-very cute!
Thanks for having me today!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
I just have to say this, "Word to her Mutha." Still some good shots!
ReplyDeleteMy 5 yr old son is obsessed with Tattoos right now. if it's not a water rub on one... he's drawing on himself. :) it's just a phase right.... right??! :)

I love love love these and was scrolling down getting ready to ask you if you processed them with any actions and then you went and answered my question before I even asked it! xxoo
ReplyDeleteShe is so cool and awesome!
ReplyDeleteFun photos. She is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe's an AWESOME gangsta! Love that tat!
ReplyDeletethose are some fantastic and unusual shots! I love how the tattoo is "featured" in the photos while we still get to see your beautiful girl.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I am not really fond of fake tattoos, but the girls have already had some Buffalo Bills tattoos. I'd prefer flowers and such
ReplyDeleteThat is the second pic I have seen today of a girl with a tough tattoo. Fun shots!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of fake tats on kids either, If I let my kids wear them, it must be small and it goes on their hand. Gets washed off faster that way.
Love the last one, and definitely gangsta :)

The third shot is real gangsta:)
ReplyDeletehaha these are great! My 4 year old loves fake tattoo's. And she knows how to put them on by herself. Usually on her shins :/ lol
ReplyDeleteI do have a cute photo of my little man naked with a Thomas the Tank tattoo on his shoulder :D
You know I have never really thought about it, but I don't see anything wrong with them... better than the real thing anyway!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! My kids love tattoos, too. And they especially like pirate and dinosaurs tattoos. I think almost every kid loves tattoos.
ReplyDeleteNice photos and well shot, the tattoo suits her
ReplyDeleteHave a great day :-)
Ah, such cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd the tattoo suits her, don´t you think?
But since I´ve got lots of ink myself, my stand on tattoes is a quite positive one, obviously ;)
I love how children assume the role when they play 'dress up'. My son went to school today in a flight suit and was rather serious in all the photos I took of him. And your daughter has that cool, rock'n'roll attitude in these photos. Great photo shoot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, I like the tone and texture, fun portraits in a very natural, excellent.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so tall for 9! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I don't like tattoos but I think the fake ones on kids are relatively harmless.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. They're so candid and fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the merry go round, especially with a friend or two!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. I'm a new follower and I can't wait to take a peek around your site. p.s. my kids get into the fake tattoos also...my rule: no skulls ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I used to love tired swings as a child. Brings back nice memories :) Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI love how happy she looks all the time. I've got no beef with the fake tats! As long as they aren't putting the naked girl silhouette on them, I'm good!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable, even in gangsta mode! ;) Princess Nagger likes dinosaur or dragon fake tattoos - since they don't last too long, I don't mind so much. ;)
ReplyDeleteWW: On the Move
I'm totally giggling that she's trying to be all hard core! Ha!
ReplyDeleteWOW- these came out great! I love the processing on them. Beautiful Alicia!
ReplyDeleteI usually don't mind the tattoo's as long as we don't have somewhere important to go. They wear off fast. Fortunately my kids don't find them too often- so it's not something I really have a strong feeling about.
I have to say, she is a pretty cute Gangsta chick, lol! I love the one of her in the swing flashing her 'peace' sign.. too cute!
ReplyDeleteWe recently had tatts at a party and they were a hit - I think my girls think of them more as 'stickers'. They are a mess to get off!!!
Haha I love the 3rd picture!
ReplyDeleteWashable or otherwise removable tats give kids a opportunity for self expression without permanently disfiguring them.
ReplyDeleteShe looks too sweet to be gangsta!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - and just the right amount of attitude :)
ReplyDeleteI think fake tats are cute. Just like your gangsta!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos; it's a joy to see a 9 year old still being a little kid. :)
ReplyDeleteI caught a movie with a friend and she teased that she should take a couple of those tattoos home to her kids. They are rather large! I suggested she wait until after VBS was over this week to apply them. That said, I was joking... I would never judge a parent or a kid for temporary tattoos. I loved the ones in Bazooka gum when I was little!
Great shots! Love your Gangsta'!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute gangsta!
ReplyDeleteTire swings are the best.
She gave me a little giggle too. I think the 3rd one is my favorite. She's such a cutie. My kids love the fake tats. I have no issue with them (but then I have a couple of tats myself, and so does my hubs.)
ReplyDeleteThese pics are great. I liked you on facebook! Hope you have an awesome day!

My 3 & 6 yr. old both love wearing fake tattoos. I think it's fine since they don't get to wear them that often and it's all innocent to them. Great pics of your daughter. :)
ReplyDeleteMy 5 year old is obsessed with tattoos. Might as well let them embrace their tattoo-tendencies now...rather than at age 18 ;) love those pix!
ReplyDeleteI love it - the tattoo and the attitude... :) Those look amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the gangsta attitude! She is so cute ...love the 'tude!
ReplyDeletegotta love the sass of that age :D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I love the fifth one so much, wish I could get one of my daughter like that! I don't mind fake tattoos, they're so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white images.
