Sometimes we get stuck in the "busyness rut" of life and we forget to open our eyes and look around. Thanks, Kristi, for the reminder. Even in the latter stages of summer there is much beauty to be found.

Grab my newest 12x12 freebie template and then share it with your friends. I'd appreciate the love.

If you are new to photoshop or photoshop elements, check out my short clipping tutorial.

And if you haven't yet entered the Crazy Days of Summer $200 Photography and Scrapbooking Prize Pack Giveaway, you're in luck. It runs through Wed, August 31st at 11:59 PM. Just go find your fav summer photos and link up!

Before I close I wanted to share this fab Color Bar template from The CoffeeShop Blog.

  27. Beautiful pictures. I like the closeups of the monarch butterfly and the milkweed - I used to live on the coast in Santa Cruz, CA, and saw the wintering monarchs.

I love the yellow colorblock dress photo, too - and the color template analysis is quite interesting.

  45. So true! It can be so easy to fall into the habit of focusing on all the things that keep us down. But no matter what is going on- there is always some beauty to be found. If we stop to notice it- it can make a lot of the bad things fade away a bit.

Love that color bar template :)
