WW: Soggy Days

April showers bring May flowers. But what about Jan, Feb and March showers?

Apparently they bring sickness. Our home has been hit! And as a S.A.D. sufferer, it's been a difficult test.

  1. Oh how I miss the rain, this snow, snow, snow has got me down in the dumps - pun intended, cause we've been hit with dumps and dumps of snow.

  4. I love your Facebook Covers! They are so sweet! Some of your pics are similar to the ones I took of my youngest girl during Dec. You can check out my very simple FB cover with those photos at https://www.facebook.com/abooksandmore?ref=hl

  5. As always, your pictures have captured the perfect mood for
your post.  The rain does have another benefit.  If you listen closely and close your eyes, it
can make the best music to fall asleep to.

  21. Such beautiful pics and I didn't deal with S.A.D. until I moved to MN. The winter season was so long it was horrible. I know that if I ever do my FB header I'll be asking you to do it!! =)

  22. I would settle for rain... we are still struggling through several feet of snow with no end in sight. Although I admit that the sunshine (even when it is well below freezing) is welcome. And SAD is very real up here in the Northern Canada!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I totally get how you feel with so many gray dreary days. Cold or not so cold, that can be miserable!! Hope everyone starts feeling better soon and the sun starts shining!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I suffer from SAD too, and I'm so sorry it's affecting you! :-(

But...we've almost completely survived, and warmer weather and sunnier days are coming soon!  Hang in there!  In the meantime, you are so completely amazing at taking these pictures...they are always stunning.

We've had a ton of rain this fall and winter in Atlanta. I love the sky afterwards when the clouds spread out to let out glimpses of sunlight.

  35. wow incredible pictures thanks for sharing!

  36. I hope you're feeling better soon. The days ARE getting longer, so that's a plus, right? It's usually not quite this wet this time of year. Hopefully we'll have some great spring flowers so the rain will be worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Amazing rainy photos! It's been unusually dry here for the past couple of days, perhaps you're getting our rain? {{{hugs}}}

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hope you are feeling better soon...I think I would rather have the rain than snow. We have had non-stop snow the last few weeks:( Looking forward to Spring.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hope the rain passes and that all of you get well soon! Spring is coming soon

  40. Great pix of rain droplets on windows and things. It really has been awfully rainy. This morning, the rain turned to snow. It's pretty, but I'm tired of the cold and am so ready for spring's arrival in 2-weeks. I'm looking forward to feeling warm again without the layers of sweat clothing. Cool idea with the timeline. I have photoshop, but have not tried doing anything like this since our Windows based computer crashed last summer. Got a new hard drive, but am now doing a major over haul on cleaning up duplicate files and shortening file names - huge job! I'm gonna grab your WW button to display on my Wordless Wednesday page. Thanks for hosting!

  56. I. LOVE. RAIN. These photos are just beautiful. I wish I could go out there and just soak up all the rain and play in it. The sound of raindrops on leaves, the smell of the wet earth, the feel of the chilly air... all remind me of rainy days in the philippines. I love it.
