Apparently they bring sickness. Our home has been hit! And as a S.A.D. sufferer, it's been a difficult test.

Mother Nature, I'm ready for a turn at some brighter days please.
On a sunnier note, did you see my free Timeline Covers?

Oh how I miss the rain, this snow, snow, snow has got me down in the dumps - pun intended, cause we've been hit with dumps and dumps of snow.
ReplyDeleteHave I ever told you how much I ADORE your blog? I just realized I stalk it ALL of the time and have never even told you. Your photography is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful rain shots- there is something really beautiful about rainy shots, although I prefer sun!
ReplyDeleteI love your Facebook Covers! They are so sweet! Some of your pics are similar to the ones I took of my youngest girl during Dec. You can check out my very simple FB cover with those photos at https://www.facebook.com/abooksandmore?ref=hl

ReplyDeleteAs always, your pictures have captured the perfect mood for
your post. The rain does have another benefit. If you listen closely and close your eyes, it
can make the best music to fall asleep to.
;)
Rain, rain go away. I do like your photos though.
ReplyDeleteThe facebook timeline covers are great!
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, we haven't had THAT much rain here in the Pacific Northwest (I better knock on some wood)! It does make for some cool shots though, happy WW and hope you guys feel better soon. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for brighter days too! The Feb/March showers and gray days of the south always get to me. We've been hit with the "ick" too. Not fun! But I have seen some promising buds...spring can't be far away!!
ReplyDeleteWe could use some of your rain.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
~EdT.
Love the droplets of water on the rusty barb wire fence and the galoshes in puddles. Lovely shots!
ReplyDeleteLove the series of photos, but I REALLY love the quote... Thanks for this!!
ReplyDeleteMines up as well at AussiePomm - Hong Kong Sunrise!!!!
Have a great day!!
We're sick here too! Ugh.... I hope your family's illness is fleeting and thanks for the fb templates!
ReplyDeleteA lot of rain. I hope you will all be well soon. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteUgh I feel your pain. All of the snow here has me really depressed, and I can not wait until spring!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah this weather has had animals lining up two by two!! Come on, sun!!
ReplyDeleteIt will be our turn soon, were gearing up. Thanks for the WW party!!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet it would be if I lived in an area with more rain. Sigh..Life in the desert goes on.
ReplyDeleteIt has been raining a lot here also in Singapore. In fact it has been raining every afternoon for the past week. Happy WW
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have been dealing with sickness, hoping everyone is better soon.
ReplyDeleteI just love this rain pictures though.
Such beautiful pics and I didn't deal with S.A.D. until I moved to MN. The winter season was so long it was horrible. I know that if I ever do my FB header I'll be asking you to do it!! =)
ReplyDeleteI would settle for rain... we are still struggling through several feet of snow with no end in sight. Although I admit that the sunshine (even when it is well below freezing) is welcome. And SAD is very real up here in the Northern Canada!
ReplyDeleteI totally get how you feel with so many gray dreary days. Cold or not so cold, that can be miserable!! Hope everyone starts feeling better soon and the sun starts shining!!
ReplyDeleteI suffer from SAD too, and I'm so sorry it's affecting you! :-(
ReplyDeleteBut...we've almost completely survived, and warmer weather and sunnier days are coming soon! Hang in there! In the meantime, you are so completely amazing at taking these pictures...they are always stunning.
I absolutely LOVE when I can get some good rainy shots!

Aw, thanks so much Sara! I'm so happy to hear that my photography speaks to you.
ReplyDeleteRain can be beautiful in its way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the timeline covers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rain photos - love that quote!!! It's a sunny day here in Vaasa Finland. I'll send some of our winter sunshine to you! <3
ReplyDeleteWishing you some sunshine! x
ReplyDeleteI've been feeling the same way! We had sun here recently, and it was such a pleasant little reminder of cheerier times.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally grabbing those timeline covers — so cute! Thanks!
Wonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a ton of rain this fall and winter in Atlanta. I love the sky afterwards when the clouds spread out to let out glimpses of sunlight.
ReplyDeletewow incredible pictures thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better soon. The days ARE getting longer, so that's a plus, right? It's usually not quite this wet this time of year. Hopefully we'll have some great spring flowers so the rain will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing rainy photos! It's been unusually dry here for the past couple of days, perhaps you're getting our rain? {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon...I think I would rather have the rain than snow. We have had non-stop snow the last few weeks:( Looking forward to Spring.
ReplyDeleteHope the rain passes and that all of you get well soon! Spring is coming soon
ReplyDeleteGreat pix of rain droplets on windows and things. It really has been awfully rainy. This morning, the rain turned to snow. It's pretty, but I'm tired of the cold and am so ready for spring's arrival in 2-weeks. I'm looking forward to feeling warm again without the layers of sweat clothing. Cool idea with the timeline. I have photoshop, but have not tried doing anything like this since our Windows based computer crashed last summer. Got a new hard drive, but am now doing a major over haul on cleaning up duplicate files and shortening file names - huge job! I'm gonna grab your WW button to display on my Wordless Wednesday page. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteGreat motto and lovely images! x
ReplyDeleteYou even make dreary gray rain look beautiful! :)

I. LOVE. RAIN. These photos are just beautiful. I wish I could go out there and just soak up all the rain and play in it. The sound of raindrops on leaves, the smell of the wet earth, the feel of the chilly air... all remind me of rainy days in the philippines. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the rain, never thought of taking photos that way, your so talented. I am stopping by to invite you to Collective Social Sunday,
ReplyDeleteCome read about the trip I am taking to China. Have a great weekend, Karren
